BOILER
Is the problem ...
The boiler is not working ?
Guidance:
Check the water pressure gauge, most boilers will stop working if the pressure drops too far. If necessary, increase the water pressure using the filling loop as you were shown at handover. If this is the case, this is not a defect, but household maintenance. If, however the water pressure is within the ‘green’ zone of the gauge, then report this as a defect - all you need do in the description box is quote the code BNW and state:
* Type of boiler
* Confirm last serviced date
(nothing else, no explanation, just this code).
REMEMBER: Servicing your boiler is your responsibility. Failure to maintain annual service checks can reduce the life of the system and invalidate any warranty (refer to the service label on the boiler).
The boiler will produce heating but no hot water ?
Guidance:
Check that you have set your programmer correctly – if the heating works then the boiler is functioning correctly – most likely the programmer is not set up correctly. If this is the case, this is not a defect, but household maintenance. If you are satisfied that the programmer is correctly set-up, then report this as a defect - all you need do in the description box is quote the code BHNHW and state:
* Type of boiler
* Confirm last serviced date
(nothing else, no explanation, just this code).
